Why did you choose acrylic drums?
"I like the way they look and I felt the bright tonal sound was something I wanted. How you came across A D H? I was just browsing online for sites that did customized acrylic sets, and ADH seemed to be the most extensive in terms of having customizable options."
What your thoughts of the site were?
"The site is well laid-out, all the options are right there in front of you. It didn't take very long for me to figure out all the parts I needed and the cost."
How you found the service?
"The number one thing I loved about ADH. I spoke back and forth to Dave for months. I told him initially I wanted to buy the set but that I wanted to wait until I had enough money. He was patient and helpful, gave me information, and even offered to throw in the tom mounts on the set for free to help me on my way. We traded emails for awhile and he didn't grow upset, considering I was holding off for quite a while. When I finally sent him the payment for the set, he got to work immediately, and I wound up having my new drums at my door two and a half weeks later. Lightning quick service, the drums are great, and Dave was a gentleman the whole way through."
What your thoughts are of the drums?
"So far, so good. They're extremely sturdy and heavy-duty, they look great, and they sound great."
Comments on the sound?
"Very easy to tune to a certain pitch, easier than my old Pearl Exports. They are very reactive to the atmosphere and have a very tonal sound, something I had imagined in my mind for some time."
Any advice you could give any potential customers?
"Don't hesitate to ask questions or to get exactly what you need. This site does not rip you off. Dave truly understands what it's like to get a customized kit, and he helped me with any questions I needed answered. ADH is definitely the most most customizable acrylic site I have seen, and with the customer service I got, I'd recommend it to anybody looking for a beautiful set of custom drums."
